Curiously, Sunstein does not examine the science and politics of the Bush administration's chief cost-benefit guru John D. Graham, but it does explore the uses and potential abuses of ABC, often detailed enough to the reader in economics and statistics grounded challenge. Global warming is the narrative thread throughout the book, but Sunstein sees appropriate responses to terrorist threats, the genetic modification of food, hurricanes and bird flu, among other issues.
